Nick Kenny

Nick joins the Physio Two team after 16 years of working within the NHS. During his physiotherapy career, Nick worked as a research physiotherapist in the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and musculoskeletal sciences in Oxford. Nick moved to Herefordshire, and now has more than 6 years experience working, locally, within the Wye Valley NHS trust as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist.

Prior to his physiotherapy career, Nick undertook a degree in Equine Science.

Nick’s treatment philosophy is based around ensuring the body is strong enough to complete the tasks required of it. Exercise therapy forms the backbone of Nick’s injury management in conjunction with manual therapy and soft tissue techniques including acupuncture.

Nick has experience of treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and is particularly interested in the treatment and rehabilitation of lower limb conditions.

Outside of work, Nick and his wife Beck can be found out and about with his dog Charlie, walking and running in the Worcester hills and Wyre Forest. Nick is a keen walker and has spent time in the highlands of Scotland, Brecon Beacons, Dartmoor National Park and in 1998 spent 3 weeks in the Himalayas.

Nick’s other interests include woodwork and watching rugby, having stopped playing rugby in 2014.

Nick looks forward to working with you to achieve your rehab goals and long term injury prevention.
