Nick Summerfield
Our practice manager is Nick Summerfield, has over 16 years’ experience working in physiotherapy. Initially, Nick trained in sports science, starting his career as a fitness consultant and a qualified sports and remedial massage therapist.
Nick converted to a career in physiotherapy in 2005 at the University of Brighton, before relocating, with his family, to pursue a career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in Herefordshire.
Nick has been working as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist since 2009, working locally within the Wye Valley NHS trust, providing a joint physiotherapy / podiatry service and developed a specialist rehabilitation service for the local community working in conjunction with local leisure services.
Nick diversified into the private physiotherapy sector working at the Movement Works in Ludlow, before collaborating with colleagues to set up Physio Two Hereford Ltd.
Nick has a special interest in occupational health physiotherapy, injury prevention and sports related injury having come from a background of playing Hockey at international level.
Nick is passionate about providing a first class, musculoskeletal physiotherapy service to the local community of Herefordshire.
When he’s not at work he enjoys the simple pleasures of dog walking, family life and exploring Herefordshire and West Wales. You may also find him riding a few waves along the West Wales coastline.
